Cyst removal

CYST REMOVAL IN AACHEN
A cyst is a three-dimensional cavity filled with a secretory fluid. A cyst can be compared to a small balloon filled with water (secretion). Of course, we do this small procedure under local anaesthetic, so that the sensation of pain is minimal. For anxious patients, the procedure can also be performed with sedative drops, which have a strong calming effect. With our modern, surgical procedure, we ensure that your operation is minimally invasive and has very few complications.

CAUSES OF CYSTS IN THE MOUTH
Generally, a cyst assumes an inflammation in the area of the root tip. However, a cyst can also be caused by the fact that the body’s own cells have grown together to a cyst. This can become so large that it displaces the jawbone, the wall of the maxillary sinus as well as the neighbouring teeth. Rare are malignant degenerations in the form of a tumour, which can be avoided by early removal of the cyst. Removal of the cyst in the oral area is therefore very important.
