ANCHORING DENTAL PROSTHESIS
The dental implant is a form of fixed dental prosthesis. An artificial tooth root, as implants are also called, is implanted directly into the jawbone. These serve to replace missing teeth. Usually crowns are anchored on the implant, but also bridges or removable dentures. In this case the implant takes over the function of a natural tooth root. Individual, several or all natural teeth can be replaced by an implant. Dental implants consist of two different materials: titanium or ceramic. The most commonly used material is titanium. This is assumed to be like the body’s own tissue and has optimal biocompatibility. Dental implants made of titanium have a high strength and good biocompatibility. There are also implants made of ceramic.
- Very good aesthetic properties, especially important in the anterior region.
- No inflammation of the implant (no periiplantitis).
- The gums react extremely positiv to the ceramic.
- Beautiful adaptation of the soft tissue to the ceramic implant.
- Everything appears very harmonious and natural.
- With all-ceramic crowns, no difference to your own teeth is noticeable.
- The edges of the crowns cannot get dark because both the implant and the crowns are made of ceramic.
- Natural appearance.
Modern implantology (with and without bone augmentation) enables patients to gain quality of life in a very short time through the new fixed teeth. Implants are inserted under local anaesthesia or in anxious patients and complicated cases with bone augmentation, with the additional use of sedative drops which have a strong calming effect. If the dental implants are inserted in the bone, they can be restored with crowns like natural teeth.
One implant + crown | Approx. 1.800,- € |
Two implants + crowns | Approx. 2.950,- € |
Three implants + crowns | Approx. 3.800,- € |
One implant with bone augmentation + crown | Approx. 2.400,- € |
SUPPORT FOR DENTAL ANXIETY: WE ARE HAPPY TO HELP YOU!
Periimplantitis can be caused by a lack of oral hygiene or heavy smoking. In addition, various general illnesses such as diabetes, osteoporosis or the use of various medications promote inflammation of the gums.
In the initial stage, periimplantitis becomes noticeable through pressure-sensitive and reddened gums. In the advanced stage, symptoms such as the receding gums around the implant and jawbone pain are added.
To avoid painful inflammation, we recommend regular check-ups and professional tooth cleaning. Furthermore, oral hygiene is very important. This includes brushing with a toothbrush at least twice a day and flossing the spaces between the teeth.
Here we are also working very successfully with bone growth factors that we isolate from the blood of the respective patients.

Implants can only be placed in the healthy jaw. If your bone has resorbed, implants cannot be inserted directly. The requirement is the reconstruction of the jawbone. With our experience in bone augmentation since 1988, the right methods and proven materials, we offer you an optimal treatment basis. After the loss of a tooth, the jawbone usually resorbs. This bone loss can be prevented by timely implantation. If the degradation of the jawbone was not stopped in time or if the bone was damaged, for example by an accident, there are very reliable methods to rebuild the jaw. This applies to the upper jaw if there is not enough space for implants in the maxillary sinus. We are pleased to support you with our decades of experience.
We, as your specialist for implants in Aachen, use growth factors such as BMP (bone morphogenetic protein) from the patient’s own blood to promote bone formation and the healing of implants and to accelerate wound healing. By centrifugation of the blood, PRGF (preparation rich in groth facotors, platelet rich plasma) and PRF (platelet rich fibrin) are obtained. Platelet-rich plasma has been used in surgery with great success since the 1990s.
PRGF stimulates tissue regeneration due to the growth factors contained in plasma. This is particularly helpful for bone augmentation both at the implants and during sinus lift (special bone augmentation in the upper jaw). Bone regeneration is safer, faster and significantly increased (better bone quality and bone density). This makes it possible to implant earlier and to load the implants faster. Other positive effects are less swelling, less discomfort and no infections.
From the centrifuged blood, we can produce an endogenous membrane that protects the bone structure. This allows the bone around the implant or during a sinus lift to heal at all. The use of an artificial membrane or one made from animal products can thus be avoided. The platelet-rich plasma can also be used in combination with platelet-rich fibrin to promote wound healing and prevent bone resorption after tooth removal with great success.
